Professor Bogusław Smólski received the title of Engineer of the 160th Anniversary in the latest edition of the Przegląd Techniczny readers' poll. The title was awarded to Professor Bogusław Smólski as part of the 32nd edition of the ‘Golden Engineer’ poll. The title is awarded for engineering, scientific and organisational achievements and influence on the development of technology.

Professor Wojciech Knap wins the 2025 FNP Award

Among the winners of this year's Foundation for Polish Science Award was Prof. Wojciech Knap from the CENTERA Laboratory at CEZAMAT, Warsaw University of Technology. The professor is an expert on our committee. Prof. Knap was awarded in the field of mathematical, physical and engineering sciences.

On 26 and 27 November 2025, a meeting of the Presidium was held at the Stanisław Staszic AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, followed by a Plenary Assembly of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP). During the meeting, members of the Main Council for Science and Higher Education (RGNiSW) were elected for a new term. Among the 11 people elected was Professor Paweł Strumiłło from the Łódź University of Technology, a member of our Committee. He will represent the field of engineering and technical sciences on the Main Council.
